The Venue

The apex is located in the arc shopping centre and is 10 minutes walk from Bury St Edmunds’ train station and 2 minutes from the bus station.

Satellite navigation users can use IP33 3BA which takes drivers to the Parkway Multi Storey car park.

The Congress

A five round Swiss Tournament with Open, Major (u170), Intermediate (u145) and Minor (u120) sections.

An English Chess Federation Grand Prix event and an East Anglian Grand Prix event.

A qualifying event for the British Championships in 2013.
